Q1: How to create my deck of cards?

 

A1: Select the type of card you want to customize from the "Design" page. Choose the card size you want to customize. Click the "start design" button to select your card stock, print type, size of decks, finish, packaging, and booklet. Click "start design" again to enter our online card maker, and design your cards or boxes fronts (or faces) and backs by dragging and dropping the uploaded image files folder. Preview your completed design and add it to the cart. Confirm and check the quantity and price in the order and go to checkout.

Tip: Only playing cards have a special mask layer design for pictures. Throughout the steps, you can click the "how to start" button to get a text prompt. If needed, click here for a video guide.

Q2: Is there a minimum order quantity?

 

A2: There is almost no minimum order quantity requirement. At acelionplayingcards.com, our original intention is to pass on price benefits favors to our customers, which means that anyone can design a deck of cards at a low price for custom playing card decks or tarot cards, oracle decks, and game cards items in personalized ideas. Our advanced manufacturing facilities can cater to large quantities of printing up to 10,000 sheets per hour.

 

Tip: If you select 'L33 Linen Air' or 'P10 Plastic PVC' in the card stock options, the minimum order quantity is 500.

Q3: Can I cancel or modify my order after payment is completed?

 

A3: We own dedicated automatic production facilities to handle all custom printing orders from acelionplayingcards.com. Once the payment is completed, your order will be automatically filed in line for printing.

Our online card maker system will provide message alerts during your design process, such as picture 'low resolution'. Before clicking on the 'Add to cart' and 'Go to checkout,' please make sure that all images, names, and other content in your design are correct as the order cannot be canceled or changed after payment.

If you have already paid, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to confirm whether production has started. Unfortunately, if we have already printed your order, we do not allow for cancellation or modification.

Q4: How long do I need to wait for my customized items from your online card builder?

 

A4: Your waiting time is the superposition of the production lead time and the delivery shipping time. The exact production time depends on the number of card decks and the packaging box and booklet components you choose.

Production lead time: 

• Small batch orders of less than 100 pieces will not exceed four working days. 
• Orders of more than 100 pieces will take seven working days.
• Delivery shipping time: 
• The international DHL Express takes about three working days. 
• The Ordinary international express (such as FedEx/TNT/DPD & Aramex) takes about 4-7 working days. 
• For large-volume bulk orders, the shipping time by Sea is about 35 days, depending on the situation.

In simple words, for small batches of personalized orders, we can deliver the goods to your hands by express delivery within a week.

Q5: Do you provide free or chargeable sample service?

 

A5: When a customer asks for free samples, we can use the video-shooting sample display method or ship similar card samples to the customer. Remember, there is no charge for the sample, but our customer needs to bear the freight. When the card sample request cannot match our sample library, we suggest the customer can pay for digital proofing. Please note: There will be some distinct color differences between digital proofing and real printed matter.

Q6: Will my order be subject to import taxes and duties?

 

A6: Typically customers ordering from outside China will incur taxes, duties, and disbursement fees on their shipments. It applies to customers in the EU and the rest of the world. Please check with your local customs body or tax authority to clarify the charges you may incur. This changes on a country-to-country basis and will usually depend on the value of your order.

Q7: Can you tell me what pixel and file format I should use?

 

A7: When you go into the first step of "Customize Back" or "Customize Front" to "Upload images", you will see some text tips on the right, including file format, minimum pixel, and maximum file size.
The specific text is as follows:
File types accepted: jpg, jpeg, bmp, png, gif, tif, and tiff.
Min resolution: 300DPI
Max file size: 32MB

Q8: Are there images or photos that do not reproduce well?

 

A8:The following is a list of some images (photos) that cannot be reproduced well:

• Pixels below 300DPI, out of focus or blurry image
• Severe exposure (too bright or too dark)
• Has been changed or cropped
• Download and use shared images from public websites
• Images sent after multiple compression
• Mobile phone image below 5 megapixels

Q9: How to Convert Font to Vector Outline in Adobe Illustrator?

 

A9:Please follow these instructions:

1. Select the font and enter the text in Illustrator.
2. Choose the Selection Tool in Illustrator (shortcut = “V”) and select the text.
3. Use the Create Outline function in Illustrator.
4. Final output after the font is converted to a vector text outline.

Q10: I don’t want to use your online card designer, can I deal directly with the salesperson?

 

A10: Although it is an easy and user-friendly online card maker and designer, it offers limited printing options. For people who pursue the Kickstarter goal or companies who want to achieve specialty promotion and market purpose, our excellent offline team from Acelion will work with you to bring your vision to reality with the highest quality custom printing service.

Q11:Why can't your online card maker (builder) work on mobile devices?

 

A11: The current online card maker is more suitable for use on the computer (PC) side. Considering the design-used experience of the mobile terminal, our team plans to prepare a specialty mobile app platform to meet the needs of those with handheld devices (such as iPad and iPhones). Please pay attention to our launch notice!

Q12: I would like to view my card sample before placing a large order, is that possible?

 

A12: Yes, we can make samples for your reference before mass production. We have two options for custom samples:

1. Digital printing sample with your design: $170(including shipping), 10~15 workdays. This sample uses digital printing, which can only match 80% ~ 90% of the mass-production printing color, but the material and surface treatment are the same.
2. Custom samples with your design: $735(including shipping), 10~15 workdays. Exactly the same as mass production.

Usually, we recommend that customers choose to view digital printing samples because it is more cost-effective.

Q13: Do you have a design or editing service?

 

A13: We do not provide customers with direct design services, but we will provide you with free templates to help you complete your design. It is recommended that you experience our design page, complete your first card and preview your card on our online card maker.
